Alternative fueled power plants are becoming more common as companies and utilities seek to mix their fuel source flexibility. A new, green-field power plant project is in the development stages. The plant, when operational, will produce 35 MW of electric power—fueled by wood.
IAE is working with a Canadian client to develop and design a 35 MW wood-fueled power plant in Alberta, Canada. In addition to the conceptual design, cost estimate, and project feasibility, IAE is acting as the Owner’s Engineer. Due diligence, working with proforma’s and coordinating with financial backers include some of the project scope.
